MY STORY
Sally Purdie
I believe in a renaissance approach – that science and the arts are linked and synergistic. As proof, I’m a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Mineral and Mining and a Chartered Engineer. I’m also a children’s writer and a Neurolinguistic Programming practitioner. In a career that spans over 20 years, I’ve made diamonds, jet engines, applied serious game principles to Health and Safety, and tried to recreate the sun.
I’ve written winning multi-million-pound funding bids, corporate strategies, academic papers, novels and picture books. During my MA in Writing for Young People, I won the United Agents’ prize for ‘Most Promising Writer.’
As an innovation manager, I’ve led large teams to create and deliver new products, processes and business strategies. I’m passionate about developing individuals and organisations to unlock their creative potential to deliver improved business results.

Marnie Forbes Eldridge
Marnie is a writer and Theatre Practitioner. She has acted, directed and written for the stage for over twenty years, has a Masters in Theatre Studies, and another in Creative Writing. She’s worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and many more regional theatres throughout the UK. She is a Writer Producer for Paper Nations and an Associate Director for Prime Theatre. Individuals of all ages and background have benefited from her work in connecting the body, voice and presence of performers. She specialises in communication and confidence building. Marnie worked with RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) to develop a communications course for young people, applying drama skills for business, interviews, and self-confidence.
